Hopme is a platform designed to help people discover, organize, and attend events in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on Hopme.
All users must comply with these guidelines when using the application.
1. Respect Other Users
Treat all users with respect.
Do not:
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate others.
- Use abusive or offensive language.
- Bully individuals or groups.
- Engage in stalking or unwanted contact.
- Encourage others to target specific users.
Respectful communication helps maintain a positive community.
2. Authentic Events Only
Events must accurately represent real activities.
You may not:
- Create fake events.
- Misrepresent event details.
- Use misleading titles or descriptions.
- Provide incorrect locations or schedules.
- Create events intended solely to deceive users.
Event organizers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of event information.
3. Illegal Activities
Hopme may not be used to organize, promote, facilitate, or encourage illegal activities.
Examples include:
- Drug distribution or use
- Human trafficking
- Fraudulent schemes
- Illegal gambling
- Sale of prohibited goods
- Criminal activity
Such content may be removed immediately and accounts may be permanently suspended.
4. Hate Speech and Discrimination
Content that attacks or promotes hatred against individuals or groups is prohibited.
Protected characteristics include:
- Race
- Ethnicity
- Nationality
- Religion
- Disability
- Gender
- Gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- Age
Hopme does not tolerate hate speech or discriminatory conduct.
5. Violence and Dangerous Content
Do not post content that:
- Promotes violence
- Encourages physical harm
- Glorifies violent acts
- Supports terrorism
- Promotes extremist organizations
Content posing a risk to public safety may be removed immediately.
6. Sexual Content
The following content is prohibited:
- Pornographic material
- Explicit sexual content
- Sexual exploitation
- Content involving minors
- Commercial sexual services
Accounts involved in such activities may be permanently banned.
7. Child Safety
Content involving child exploitation or abuse is strictly prohibited.
Any such content may result in:
- Immediate account termination
- Content removal
- Reporting to appropriate authorities where required by law
8. Spam and Platform Abuse
Users may not:
- Create multiple accounts for abuse
- Send spam
- Artificially manipulate participation counts
- Use automated systems without permission
- Conduct unauthorized advertising campaigns
Repeated violations may result in permanent restrictions.
9. Fraud and Scams
Do not:
- Request money under false pretenses
- Impersonate individuals or organizations
- Mislead users regarding event costs
- Promote fraudulent investments or financial schemes
Users should exercise caution when interacting with others.
10. Intellectual Property
Respect intellectual property rights.
Do not upload content that infringes:
- Copyrights
- Trademarks
- Patents
- Other proprietary rights
Content violating intellectual property rights may be removed upon review.

Users can report:
- Events
- Profiles
- Content
- Abuse
Reports may be submitted through available reporting tools or by contacting:

Depending on severity, Hopme may:
- Remove content
- Remove events
- Restrict functionality
- Temporarily suspend accounts
- Permanently ban accounts
Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion to maintain platform safety.
13. Organizer Responsibility
Event organizers are solely responsible for:
- Compliance with local laws
- Venue requirements
- Safety measures
- Event execution
- Communications with participants
Hopme is a platform and does not organize events unless explicitly stated otherwise.
14. Updates
These Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time.
Continued use of Hopme constitutes acceptance of updated guidelines.
